It's official!
In May 2022, we signed the lease for our new homebase at 225 E Ponce de Leon Ave Suite 110 Decatur, GA 30030. We're incredibly excited, more than a bit anxious and absolutely determined to bring our artisanal bubble tea concept to downtown Decatur.
Bubble tea has always been tremendously popular in areas such as Duluth, GA and along Buford Highway in Doraville. However, we've always believed that smaller towns need amazing bubble tea with great ingredients, vibes and service as well. After a year of dedicated searching all over the place, we stumbled upon Decatur and decided this was the place for us to launch Rebel Teahouse.
In addition to our curated bubble tea drinks, whether it's our authentic Vietnamese coffee or locally sourced buns from our Chinese bakery partner, we hope to continuously offer a menu that hits the spot every time you visit.
What Is Next For Rebel Teahouse?
We expect to be deep in the scary world of permitting and construction for all of Summer 2022, surfacing for air and our soft opening this Fall. Luckily for us, we've found some amazing people to help us bring the Rebel Teahouse vision into the real world.
Shout-out to these incredible individuals: 1) Susan, our super architect, who turned our thoughts and wishes into actionable drawings; 2) Dan, our general contractor, who we randomly and luckily introduced ourselves to in Smyrna; 3) and of course, Bob, the multi-talented MEP engineer.
